Job Description
Our client is a large public Atlanta based corporate that is well established and experience tremendous job growth.  This is a merit based environment with a history of rapid promotion for good performance.  This position is responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis on a wide variety of critical corporate wide initiatives associated with treasury, investor relations and strategic business development.
 
  • Establishes meaningful partnerships with leadership in business units. Proactively identifies operational issues, communicates effectively with key internal stakeholders, and collaborates on strategic initiatives.
  • Supports IR, Strategic Business Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, Real Estate, and other corporate functions in capital allocation, management reporting, and ad hoc projects.
  • Analyzes data to assess strategic decisions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and business initiatives.
  • Executes monthly financial reports, interprets results, identifies meaningful variances and trends, summarizes and provides context to senior management, and streamlines and automates such reports.
  • Coordinates quarterly forecasts and annual strategic planning processes.
  • Stays abreast of relevant trends in macroeconomic indicators in financial markets, including interest rates, currency exchange rates, and commodity inflation rates.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to capital structure and cash deployment policies.
  • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and normalizes disparate data from various internal and external sources to create comprehensive financial models.

This person must be able to:
  • Identifies key core problems and apply problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
  • Independently perform assignments with instruction limited to results expected.
 
Education and Experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience, including strong financial statement analysis, in-depth project/business valuation, and advanced Excel-based modeling. Ability to craft executive level narratives in PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related quantitative discipline
