Currently we have an opportunity for a Senior Analyst - Strategic Business Development in the Atlanta area.

Job Summary: 
This is a high profile assignment directly supporting the General Counsel & Vice President Business Development and will provide opportunity for rapid career growth, diverse workflow mix, as well as an opportunity to join a dynamic team.   The Company is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy.  This role will be a key contributor to in achieving the Company’s growth goals by a detailed and in depth financial analysis of potential acquisition targets and making recommendations to senior leadership on the valuation of such targets.  The role will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing a 3 year pro forma P&L on acquisition targets, creating overview presentations for senior management, capital expenditure estimations and recommendations, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, and other projects requested by senior management.

This role will support the analytical engine for acquisitions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed financial and valuation models for potential acquisitions, mergers, divestures or investments. 
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, payroll, SG&A, and capital expenditures for acquisition targets.
  • Project 3 year EBITDA for all targets taking into consideration sales trends, margin expectations, future payroll, other SG&A synergies and integration costs and timing. 
  • Interact directly with sellers to better understand their business and obtain answers to key questions regarding the long term outlook of their company.
  • Assist in conducting financial due diligence of potential target acquisitions.
  • Prepare summary document which provides an overview of each acquisition to senior management for approval.
  • Assist in the creation of Letters of Intent & Asset Purchase Agreements in conjunction with our legal team.
  • Analyze the markets of potential acquisitions to determine growth opportunities, the competitive landscape and number of competing parts stores and identify market share possibilities.
  • Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare summary presentations of acquisition targets for the Senior Management Team and effectively communicate results and recommendations to senior management
  • Travel as needed for due diligence and integration support, estimated 10 – 20%.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 Job Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of relevant financial analysis or M&A experience; investment banking or private equity background is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, problem-solving and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions through detailed analysis and review.
  • Ability to effectively participate in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude.
