This national company based on the NE side of Atlanta is seeking a Finance Manager.  Role requires good financial and operational analytics (modeling in excel), DCF, etc.  This position will over see a team of 2-3 and will drive optics for executive level and BOD consumption (will make C-suite and BOD presentations).  This role reports to the Sr. Director.

The Finance Manager will have ownership of budgeting and reporting of various line items providing company stakeholders with an understanding of the drivers in variances and mix shift. The Manager will be the subject matter expert on all things relating to COGS as it pertains to the various internal users of this data, and its derivatives. This will necessitate regular coordination with various internal groups to ensure alignment.

Additionally, the Manager will play a large role in developing robust financial models, pro-forma financial statements, DCF, and other requirements as part of high-visibility corporate strategic initiatives. This role requires strong intellectual curiosity and financial modeling skillsets, as well as exceptional people skills as it involves regular interdepartmental interfacing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Supervise and day-to-day work of analyst(s)
? Manage the budgeting and forecasting of COGS in addition to developing an in-depth
understanding of all variables that impact this P&L line item
? Perform detailed variance analysis to show drivers in each accounting period
? Oversee updating of pricing each period
? Interface regularly with Accounting counterpart(s) to ensure agreement of all numbers
? Provide actionable insights and strong reporting commentary, including metrics reporting
? Ad-hoc corporate project modeling, analysis and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
? Investment Banking, FP&A or similar experience required
? Advanced Excel, intermediate Access and PowerPoint skills required
? Strong grasp of general business, financial concepts and accounting principles
? Working knowledge of SAP
? Demonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize results
? Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, often competing, interests while working independently
? Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present to groups
? Proactive approach to work, while being able to act independently
? Experience preferred managing junior staff

EDUCATION
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
Master in Business Administration or similar preferred
