Job Description
An Atlanta-based technology startup company is seeking a Finance Manager with proven experience in forecasting, preparing budgets, expense management, and general accounting.  This is a true hybrid finance/accounting role for a growing organization with solid financials and a bright, energetic team.  The successful candidate will work closely with executive management providing detailed analysis in support of business spending.  In addition, they will generate periodic reports and presentations to assist management with financial and operational decisions as well as work with managing incoming revenue, customer invoicing, and helping to institute company policy for business spending overall.

- Work with management to create monthly revenue and expense forecasts
- Formalize and manage an employee expense reporting and reimbursement process
- Manage the process for customer invoicing
- Develop ad hoc financial reports for executive management
- Handle bookkeeping and accounts payable
- Complete month-end close
- Provide detailed support of month-end results and variance analysis
- Work with outside accounting firm providing reports, income statements, etc.
- Assemble spreadsheets and presentation material in support of projects, ideas, and recommendations
- Serve as a key partner to executive management for all things financial in support of operational decisions

- BS in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years financial analysis or accounting experience
- Combination of equivalent training and experience
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, index, macros)
- Knowledge/experience with Xero (or strong QuickBooks) and Expensify preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
