Job Description
Our Private Equity backed client is based in Atlanta and is a national leader in their industry.  The corporate office is in the technology park area of Norcross and is 
easily commutable from most areas of the metro.  The company has a great culture and as such positions rarely open up here. Work life balance is very good.

This is a newly created position designed create operational and financial metrics and dashboards for executive level and owner consumption to provide real time 
reports on company status and decisions support. Executive team is looking for a Director of Finance who is passionate about business metrics. This role will report to the Vice President Finance and will be responsible for reporting critical metrics for the company. These metrics are vital to decisions and strategic direction of the business. This data receives significant visibility from the C-suite and this role will play a key leadership role in the owner's management of the company. This person will work cross functionally to drive alignment, governance and standardization across the company. They play a critical and objective role in treatment of top line metrics.

This Director will have 2 direct reports and will be a hands-on leader driving KPI development and data visualization from various internal data sources.  

• Partner cross functionally to plan, forecast, and report these metrics. Deliver financial insights as a trusted adviser to the C-suite and company leadership
• Transform system processes with an eye to automation, integration, and scale
• Oversee integration of KPIs into core reporting/forecasting processes
• Define, report, and provide insights around management reporting KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve how data is used through data structure, transparency, and delivery

Required Skills/Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas
• 8-10+ years of related experience, preferably in a leadership role within a Finance and/or Operations organization
• Experience leading teams, serving as a mentor and coach to employees. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Proven track record of working with and driving results with IT organizations
• Proven track record of driving cross functional business process and system improvements, including successful change management
• Ability to drive alignments on priorities with senior management
• Strong customer service orientation and a desire to help others succeed
• Proven track record of delivering small or large scale projects
• Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization

Desired Skills/Experience
• MBA preferred
• Ability to influence at all levels of an organization
• Experience with financial and business intelligence tools/systems such as SQL, data warehouses, Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos, Hyperion, Oracle
• Relevant Experience in areas including: management reporting, process improvements, process re-engineering, business intelligence, planning and forecasting processes, talent development, learning and development, vendor management, procure to pay, quote to cash.
