Management of the monthly close including monthly reporting
Technical accounting knowledge
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting team and oversee the monthly close process
Analyze general ledger account activity
Perform month-end closing tasks and coordinate review of key data with Sr Director, Accounting Services
Assist in establishing standard cost rates for labor and update as required
Assist with Interim and Annual Audit
Assist with transition of recent Acquisition
Oversee AP tasks
Assist with SOX 404 compliance work
Participate in other projects as required
Participate in self-development and training of others
Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Must be detail-oriented, self-starter with strong analytical skills and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 10+ years corporate general accounting experience.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, accounting system software experience; experience with third party payroll processing systems helpful.
CPA or CPA track.
Leadership/management, organizational skills, Strong GAAP Accounting is required.
